Rose Hill Museum, Osborn Learning Center open
July 7 @ 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm
Head into spring with a “Hat Extravaganza” at Rose Hill Museum in Bay Village.
The season’s opening exhibit, coordinated by the Bay Village Historical Society, features hats from the collection of longtime Bay Village resident Ann DiBenedetto, owner of Heady Lady Millinery. Ann had a great love of fashion and hats. She began her fashion hat shows in Cleveland, as well as Palm Beach and Boca Raton, Fla. Even presidents and first ladies wore her hats. Ann had a personal collection of more than 500 hats and collected many stories to go along with them.
“Hat Extravaganza” opens on Apr. 29 and continues through the spring and summer. Admission is free of charge every Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Group tours can be arranged. Rose Hill Museum is at 27715 Lake Rd. in Bay Village. The museum’s Victorian Parlor has recently undergone major renovations and everyone is invited to stop by to take a look at the beautiful updates.
