Cahoon Christmas at Rose Hill Museum

December 6 @ 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Since the museum is decorated so beautifully, we thought we’d be open on Wednesdays in December!

Rose Hill Museum will be beautifully decorated for the holiday season with pathway luminaries and docents greeting you in vintage clothing. This year’s display will highlight  White House Christmas cards designed by artist and Bay Village native Thomas William Jones, along with other Bay Village scenes.

Enjoy a reading of “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas” and partake in the Nutcracker Scavenger Hunt to win a special Christmas treat!

There will be spinning and weaving demonstrations every day the museum is open. The Medina Spinning and Weaving Guild, the Lorain County Spinners and Weavers and the Crooked River Rug Hookers will be leading these demonstrations. See the 1830’s loom and purchase items woven on it.

The museum gift shop will be open for holiday purchases. This is also an opportunity to see the newly constructed working model of the Cahoon family 1813 gristmill.
