Launching of the Wischmeyer pram

The formal launch of the Wischmeyer pram will be held on Wednesday, September 27, Henry Wischmeyer’s 151st birthday, a fitting day to do it.
We will launch the boat at Huntington Beach at the far eastern end by Porter Creek. We will convene at 6:30 PM. Guests will have to park up top and walk down to the launch area. We will have a ceremonial cake and refreshments for our guests.
Please invite any interested parties. We welcome all enthusiasts.
This is a weather dependent event. If lake conditions are too rough or there is rain we will have to postpone. We can probably make an assessment 24 hrs. ahead of the launch time.
